Our Complaints Procedure

If something is not right, here is exactly what happens and how long each stage takes.

We take customer satisfaction seriously and aim to resolve any issue quickly and fairly. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please follow these steps.

Step 1: Tell us

Contact us directly by phone on 0118 989 0564 or by email at info@awgsfencing.co.uk within 14 days of the issue arising. Please include your name, your address and a clear description of the concern.

Step 2: We acknowledge it

We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days, and arrange a site visit if one is needed to inspect the work in question.

Step 3: We respond in writing

We will provide a written response setting out our proposed resolution within 14 working days. Where work is found to be below standard, we will rectify it at no additional cost to you.

Step 4: If you are still not satisfied

You can escalate the matter to Which? Trusted Traders or Checkatrade. We are accredited members of both, and both provide independent dispute resolution.

Why we publish this

Most fencing companies do not put a complaints procedure on their website. We do, because being a Which? Trusted Trader means being accountable to an outside body, and because knowing what would happen if something went wrong is a reasonable thing to want before you let anyone dig up your boundary.
